‘Delta Is in Very Good Hands’ — Obi Cubana Hails Oborevwori, Confirms December 2026 Delivery of Millennium City

Business mogul and Chairman of Cubana Group, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has commended Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, describing his leadership as God-fearing, people-centred, and development-driven.

Obi Cubana made the remarks during a courtesy visit to the Government House, Asaba, where he was accompanied by Pastor Jerry Eze, Founder of Streams of Joy International, who was in the state to dedicate the Cubana Millennium City project.

According to the entrepreneur, Delta State is witnessing purposeful governance under Governor Oborevwori, declaring that the state is “in very good hands.”

“When the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoice. Delta State is truly blessed with a God-fearing and development-oriented governor,” Obi Cubana said.

He also reaffirmed his confidence in the governor’s leadership and assured residents and investors that the Cubana Millennium City (CMC) Asaba project would be completed by December 2026.

Obi Cubana expressed appreciation for Governor Oborevwori’s accessibility and openness to private-sector collaboration, noting that such leadership has created an enabling environment for investment and urban development in the state.

“Thank you, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for the constant access. We are bringing magic to Delta State,” he added.

Describing the CMC project as a landmark development, Obi Cubana referred to it as “the Jewel on the Niger.” He assured prospective homeowners that the first phase of the estate would be ready for occupation by December 2026.

Cubana Millennium City Asaba is designed as a premium mixed-use development aimed at boosting Asaba’s profile as a rapidly growing urban and investment hub, in alignment with the Oborevwori administration’s MORE Agenda, which prioritises accelerated development, economic growth, and improved quality of life for Deltans.
