Dangote Rewards Distributors with N15 Billion, Announces Cement Expansion to 90 Million Tonnes

Dangote Cement Plc has celebrated its top distributors and customers with N15 billion worth of rewards in recognition of their loyalty, resilience, and outstanding performance.

The 2026 Distributors’ Awards Night, held in Lagos under the theme “Partner for Growth,” honoured the company’s highest-performing partners. Winners received an impressive array of gifts, including cash prizes, containers of cement, high-end SUVs, and CNG-powered trucks, collectively valued at N15 billion.

Speaking at the event, President/CEO of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, described the distributors as the “heartbeat” of the organisation, praising their dedication to ensuring Dangote products reach communities nationwide.

“Your tireless work, commitment to our products, and direct engagement with our customers are what turn our vision into tangible results. Today’s celebration is a testament that our growth journey for 2026 has already begun,” Dangote said.

During the ceremony, Dangote also reiterated the Vision 2030 strategy, aimed at transforming Dangote Group into a $100 billion enterprise by 2030. The strategy focuses on industrial expansion, cross-border investments, and Africa’s self-sufficiency in energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

The industrial giant revealed plans to expand Dangote Cement’s production capacity to 90 million tonnes by 2030, emphasizing that the ambition extends beyond building factories to strengthening Africa’s economic and industrial capacity.

“Under this vision, we have announced expansion of our petroleum refinery from 650,000 bpd to 1.4 million bpd, fertiliser production to 12 million metric tonnes per year, and increased output at the polypropylene plant. Our cement production target of 90 million tonnes by 2030 is 50% higher than the entire output of Saudi Arabia,” Dangote stated.

He concluded by highlighting that Vision 2030 and the Africa First project are driven by his belief that Africa’s future will be shaped by Africans who dream big, work hard, and refuse to accept limits.
