Former Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has commended former President Olusegun Obasanjo for his significant contributions to the development of democracy in Nigeria and across Africa.

Tambuwal praised Obasanjo’s enduring commitment to democratic principles and nation-building, describing him as a guiding figure whose legacy continues to inspire generations.

The former governor made the remarks while expressing gratitude to Obasanjo for attending and presiding over his 60th birthday colloquium.
