The upcoming film will explore themes of power, rivalry, gender politics, and fertility within a complex polygamous household. It will feature an ensemble cast that includes Iyabo Ojo, Bimbo Ademoye, and Omowunmi Dada.
The project is being produced in collaboration with Nile Media Entertainment, Genesis Group, and Silverbird Group, marking EbonyLife Films’ return to cinemas after several years away from theatrical releases.

She added that the partnership with Genesis Group, Nile Group, and Silverbird Group represents an unprecedented collaboration aimed at taking the powerful story to a global audience.
Lola Shoneyin, who authored the novel in 2010, is also attached to the film as a producer. The screenplay is being adapted by Adze Ugah, while Daniel Oriahi will direct the film.
