Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has taken to social media to express frustration over the overwhelming number of marriage proposals she receives daily from men online.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, the actress revealed that her direct messages across multiple platforms have become flooded with unsolicited romantic advances, describing the situation as exhausting and emotionally draining.

According to Nkechi, she wakes up every day to thousands of messages from men declaring their intentions to marry her. She explained that despite repeatedly blocking accounts and attempting to adjust her privacy settings, the messages continue to pour in.

The actress stressed that although she is currently single, she is not actively searching for a relationship. However, this has not stopped admirers from persistently reaching out through her WhatsApp and social media inboxes.

“I don’t even know which of my videos is trending again,” she lamented. “I wake up to thousands of messages from different kinds of men. I’ve blocked tire, but it keeps coming. I am single, yes, but I’m not looking for a man.”

Nkechi added that her WhatsApp inbox alone contains over 5,000 unread messages, leaving her mentally drained and overwhelmed.

The video has since sparked reactions online, with fans sympathising with her plight while others debated the challenges female celebrities face with online attention and boundary violations.
