
Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operators of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), has reaffirmed its strong commitment to the safety and security of passengers and their belongings.
Acting Chief Operating Officer Remi Jibodu made the remarks at a transport summit in Lagos, highlighting the terminal’s advanced security infrastructure.
“At MMA2, the safety and security of our passengers and their belongings are paramount. A secure environment is essential to maintaining the trust and confidence our users place in us,” Jibodu said.
He noted instances where passengers requested CCTV playback to locate misplaced or forgotten items, adding that all such items were successfully tracked and recovered. “We have a robust surveillance system, a dedicated security team, and a strong collaboration with law enforcement agencies. Our security measures are highly effective,” he affirmed.
Jibodu also emphasized that the terminal continues to enhance its systems to provide passengers with a consistently safe and secure travel experience.
The summit, chaired by Fola Tinubu, CEO of Primero Transport Services Limited, offered experts a platform to discuss the multimodal transport framework and strategies to build a sustainable transport future through innovation, private sector involvement, and strong institutional collaboration.
