A$AP Rocky is embracing fatherhood in full, sharing the joys of being a “girl dad” to his newborn daughter, Rocki Irish, whom he welcomed with partner Rihanna in September 2025.

At the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards on November 3 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, the 37-year-old rapper and fashion icon spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about his new role. When asked what it means to be a “girl dad,” Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, playfully replied, “A$AP Rocky in 2026, you know. Check me out.”

Rocky also shared that his daughter Rocki is his “baby twin”, emphasizing how special she is to him. “Rocki is cuter than ever. You know, she’s my baby twin, so it’s amazing. I’m happy to be a girl dad at this point,” he said during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Balancing Life With Three Kids

The rapper is also dad to sons Riot (2) and RZA (3½), and he acknowledged that the boys are adjusting to their baby sister. “I think they might get a little jealous from time to time, but they ain’t got to be. It’s a lot of love to go around, but it’s going to probably take some getting used to. Shout out to my boys and my baby girl, man. Daddy love y’all,” Rocky shared.

Fashion Legacy for the Kids

Both Rocky and Rihanna are Fashion Icon Award recipients, and their children are already getting a taste of the fashion legacy. The rapper credited Rihanna for dressing their children, telling Entertainment Tonight, “That’s all her. She does that. You know, I can’t take credit for none of that.”

Earlier, in a September interview with GQ, Rocky revealed that the couple plans to preserve their iconic fashion pieces for their kids: “All of them. No bulls—. At this point, it’s not even about being a hoarder or anything. It’s like being a collector. The kids’ pieces are essentially those archival, save-for-later pieces,” he said.
