Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Minister of Power and 2027 APC governorship aspirant, has extended financial assistance to residents affected by the Ibadan Circular Road project in Oyo State.
During an interactive session with displaced residents, Adelabu announced ₦25 million as the first phase of support to help secure temporary accommodation. He emphasized that the gesture is humanitarian, not political, aimed at easing hardships caused by demolitions along the 113-kilometre project corridor.
Adelabu also expressed condolences to those injured or who lost lives, calling for development with a human face and warning against arbitrary demolitions. He pledged to engage Governor Seyi Makinde and explore federal and state avenues to ensure fairness, urging residents to remain peaceful and law-abiding.
