
The Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Akinwunmi Fasakin, has announced the appointment of Superintendent Route Command Afolabi Odunsi-Oyewole as the new Public Education Officer for the sector.
Odunsi-Oyewole succeeds Florence Okpe, the former Public Education Officer, who passed away on October 28, 2025, after a prolonged illness.
In an official statement, Fasakin said:
“The Management of RS2.2 Ogun Sector Command hereby announces that Superintendent Route Command Odunsi-Oyewole David has been appointed as the new Sector Public Education Officer. He hails from Lagos State and holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Psychology. He has served in various capacities across FRSC formations and is a seasoned officer.”
The Sector Commander reiterated the FRSC’s commitment to ensuring road safety for all drivers and road users, urging the public to cooperate with and support the newly appointed spokesperson.
