Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has labeled the Department of State Services (DSS) as an “incompetent organization” following the agency’s dismissal of 115 personnel. She made the comment on her X account, saying, “If incompetence needed an organization to describe it, this DSS will fit aptly.”
The DSS had announced the dismissals as part of ongoing internal reforms, citing various acts of misconduct by the affected officers. The agency also warned the public to be cautious, as some dismissed personnel might still falsely claim to be DSS operatives.
The names of the dismissed personnel have been published on the DSS official website for verification.
