Anambra Guber: YPP Candidate Accuses Soludo of Funding Militias to Disrupt Election

The Young Progressive Party (YPP) governorship candidate, Paul Chukwuma, has accused Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo of allegedly funding state militias to disrupt the upcoming governorship election scheduled for November 8, 2025.

Chukwuma made the claim in an interview with Arise Television, monitored by DAILY POST, stating that Soludo is using Local Government chairmen to deploy militias in certain areas, including Anambra East, to interfere with the electoral process.

Despite the allegations, Chukwuma expressed confidence in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies, emphasizing his belief in a fair election.

He warned that the governor’s actions could violate provisions of the electoral act, potentially undermining the electoral process, even as he remains confident of winning.
