APC Slams Saraki Over Alleged Dual Allegiances to Tinubu, PDP

The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has challenged former governor and Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to address allegations that he is playing a double game politically.

The party claims Saraki feigns support for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 second-term ambition in Abuja while aligning with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State to secure personal benefits and contracts.

In a statement, Kwara APC spokesperson Abdulwaheed Babatunde described the former Senate President’s alleged behavior as hypocrisy, disloyalty, and double-dealing, cautioning the public against placing trust in his political stance.

“Since Prof. Sulaiman Abubakar highlighted these allegations on a radio session, there has been a coordinated attempt to smear his personality. Saraki owes the public and his followers clarity on these serious claims,” Babatunde said.

The party also recalled Saraki’s past political moves, including his controversial emergence as Senate President in 2015 and his clashes with party leadership, labeling him as cunning, deceptive, and self-serving. APC further warned officials engaging with Saraki in Abuja to be cautious of his alleged hypocritical tendencies.
