Arizona Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva has not yet been sworn into Congress, more than three weeks after her election. Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes told MSNBC that the state’s Attorney General is considering suing Republican Speaker Johnson for delaying the swearing-in.

Grijalva described the situation as setting a “dangerous precedent”, raising concerns about the proper administration of democratic and constitutional processes.
