Ashmusy Called Out Over Alleged False House Ownership Claim

Nigerian content creator and social media influencer, Ashmusy, has come under scrutiny following allegations that she falsely claimed ownership of a luxury property in Lekki.

The controversy follows her recent announcement celebrating the completion of a four-duplex building in the upscale Lagos neighbourhood, which she attributed to years of hard work and dedication.

However, a realtor identified on Instagram as @superblachomes has disputed the claim, alleging that the property was not purchased by Ashmusy as implied and is still actively listed for sale.

In a post shared online, the realtor wrote, “Ignore the lies. This property was never acquired by your fave and is still very much available for sale.”

As of the time of this report, Ashmusy has not responded publicly to the allegation.

Meanwhile, social media users have expressed mixed reactions in the comment section, with some defending the influencer. One user, Time Stella, suggested that Ashmusy may not have explicitly claimed ownership, noting that she mentioned a “business partner” in her post and could have been involved in managing the project.

Another commenter, Chiamaka Edeh, also questioned the narrative, saying she did not see any direct claim of ownership in Ashmusy’s announcement.

Others, like Princess, used the situation to highlight the pressures of social media, remarking that online spaces can be unforgiving and misleading.

The debate continues to trend online as netizens await clarification from Ashmusy on the matter.
