Omooba Dotun Babayemi, through the Ireti Osun Movement, has called on members and supporters across Osun State to remain steadfast in backing the All Progressives Congress (APC). Babayemi, a former gubernatorial aspirant, engaged with 30 local governments and 299 of the state’s 332 wards, emphasizing the importance of unity and loyalty to the party.

Speaking via telephone while abroad, Babayemi thanked supporters for their dedication and urged them to adhere to the decisions of APC leadership. He stressed that the party is supreme and called for continued focus to ensure victory in upcoming elections, including the 2027 general elections and the re-election bid of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Sir Gbenga Adebusuyi, leader of Babayemi’s team, highlighted concerns that some grassroots members were drifting toward other parties. He reassured them that integration measures were underway and that defection was not an option, urging all members to remain united and committed to the party’s ideals.

Babayemi and his team emphasized that the success of APC in Osun State is a shared responsibility and called on members to work toward progress at both state and national levels.
