Bitget Wallet Launches Direct Bank Transfers in Nigeria and Mexico

Bitget Wallet, a leading everyday finance app, has introduced a Bank Transfer feature in Nigeria and Mexico, allowing users to instantly convert USDT and USDC into naira and peso and send funds directly to local bank accounts.

The feature enables users to pay merchants, settle bills, or send money to friends and family directly from their crypto wallet — bypassing peer-to-peer (P2P) platforms and centralized exchanges. It supports over 45 banks in Nigeria and 35 banks in Mexico, with instant settlement within minutes.

Transactions are processed via licensed partners and regulated payment channels, ensuring compliance, security, and speed. The service works across BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and Base networks.

Bitget Wallet aims to bridge crypto with traditional banking, making stablecoins more practical for everyday payments amid inflation and currency volatility. Nigeria and Mexico together process over $160 billion in annual on-chain volume, highlighting the growing role of crypto in these emerging markets.

To celebrate the launch, Bitget Wallet is offering a zero-fee promotion, with plans to expand the feature to additional markets soon.
