
Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has dismissed 60 students from various departments following findings of examination malpractice.
The decision, approved during the university’s 43rd Senate meeting on January 7, 2026, was based on investigations and recommendations from academic and disciplinary committees.
BUK emphasized that the expulsions were carried out in line with its General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR) and the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies (GRGPS).
