Nigerian content creator, comedian, and musician Carter Efe has revealed that he graduated with a first-class degree from Babcock University, claiming he was the best graduating student in his set.
The entertainer made the disclosure during a recent conversation that has since gone viral on social media. His revelation surprised many fans, as he is widely known for his comedy skits, online streaming, and music rather than academics.
“I went to Babcock University. I graduated with a first class. I was the best in my set,” Carter Efe said.
Following his statement, social media users reacted with mixed opinions. While some congratulated him, others expressed doubt, questioning the phrase “first-class upper” and asking for evidence to support his claim.
Comments such as “Babcock no be small money o,” and “First class upper ke?” flooded the comment sections, with several users openly stating they were skeptical of the announcement.
Despite the doubts, the revelation has drawn attention to a lesser-known academic side of the entertainer and sparked conversations about education, perception, and stereotypes surrounding online creators.
