Veteran Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has expressed deep appreciation and surprise after actress Shaffy Bello described him as one of her favourite comedy actors.

Shaffy Bello made the remark during an interview with VJ Adams, where she named Charles Inojie and the late Sam Loco Efe as her top Nollywood comedy actors, while identifying Samuel L. Jackson as her favourite Hollywood star.

Speaking fondly of Sam Loco, Bello said she wished she could bring him back, adding that Charles Inojie’s comedic brilliance is rooted in natural talent rather than training. She praised his impeccable timing, noting that such skill is innate and cannot be taught or learned.

Reacting to the commendation on his Instagram page, Inojie said he was overwhelmed by the recognition, describing it as the best New Year gift he has received so far.

The actor said receiving such validation from an internationally celebrated professional meant a great deal to him and reaffirmed his commitment to excellence in his craft.

“I’m awestruck and literally dumbfounded. To receive such glowing validation from an internationally renowned and widely celebrated professional is, to say the least, my best New Year’s gift so far,” he wrote, adding that he does not take the gesture for granted and would continue to live up to expectations.
