BEIJING, Nov 5, 2025 – China announced it will lift export control measures against 15 U.S. entities and continue to pause restrictions for 16 more entities for one year, effective November 10, according to a statement from China’s Commerce Ministry.
In addition, China will remove or suspend measures imposed earlier this year on certain U.S. entities added to the unreliable entity list in March and April, also effective November 10. These actions allow Chinese exporters to apply for transactions involving dual-use items with the affected U.S. companies. Domestic firms will likewise be permitted to resume business with entities previously restricted.
This move is seen as a step toward easing trade tensions between the U.S. and China, potentially facilitating smoother bilateral trade and commercial cooperation.
