CISCE Releases 2026 Board Exam Date Sheet for Classes 10 and 12: Exams to Begin in February

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Thursday announced the official timetable for the 2026 ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examinations. According to the schedule, the ICSE exams will begin on February 17, 2026, while the ISC exams will commence on February 12, 2026.

The CISCE stated that the results for both classes will be declared in April–May 2026, and will be accessible only through the official website of the council. “The result will NOT be available from the office of CISCE,” the statement clarified.

Officials also instructed all chief and assistant supervising examiners to ensure that these directions are properly communicated to every student appearing for the 2026 board exams.


ICSE (Class 10) Board Exam Schedule 2026

The Class 10 examinations will begin with English Language on February 17 and conclude on March 30, 2026. The detailed subject-wise schedule is as follows:

  • February 17 (Tuesday), 11 am: English Language
  • February 20 (Friday), 11 am: English Literature
  • February 26 (Thursday), 11 am: Hindi
  • March 2 (Monday), 11 am: Mathematics
  • March 6 (Friday), 11 am: Indian and Foreign Languages (Ao-Naga, Assamese, Bengali, Dzongkha, Garo, Gujarati, Kannada, Khasi, Lepcha, Mizo, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Tangkhul, Telugu, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Persian, Modern Armenian, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Tibetan)

ISC (Class 12) Board Exam Schedule 2026

The Class 12 board exams will span from February 12 to April 6, 2026, beginning with Psychology and ending with Geography. Exams will be held in the afternoon session starting at 2 pm.

Important Details for Students

  • The ICSE examinations will start at 11 am, while the ISC examinations will begin at 2 pm each day.
