Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has shared a painful relationship experience, revealing that he once gifted a lover a Range Rover only for the relationship to end shortly after.

Speaking during a recent livestream with TikTok star Sandra Benede, Sabinus described love as “cruel” and expressed empathy for fellow influencer Peller, who recently faced public heartbreak and a car accident following a breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis.

“Jarvis has finished Peller. I have been in Peller’s situation before. Love is cruel. I once gifted a girl a Range Rover because of love. She later left me. I regretted it. So nobody should blame Peller,” Sabinus said.

The comedian urged Nigerians to show compassion, emphasizing that even generous acts of love do not always guarantee loyalty or happy endings.

Also recall that Sabinus confirmed the end of his marriage to Ciana Chapman, the mother of his child, during a TikTok livestream in December 2025. The couple had married privately in 2023, with their union lasting just over a year.
