The “Wicked” stars rushed to help a fan after an unexpected champagne mishap — and the sweet moment melted the internet.

A Messy Moment Turns Magical

At the European premiere of Wicked, stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande proved that kindness never goes out of style. During a group photo opportunity, the two actresses rushed to help a fan after an accidental champagne spill — a moment that quickly went viral on TikTok and across social media.

The fan, who goes by Tricia The Angel on TikTok, shared her emotional and hilarious experience on October 30, 2025. What could have been her “most embarrassing moment,” she said, became “one of the kindest” experiences of her life thanks to the compassion shown by Erivo and Grande.

The Champagne Incident

Tricia attended the glamorous premiere as a special guest and was thrilled to meet her idols, the stars of the much-anticipated Wicked: For Good. While posing for photos, things took an unexpected turn.

“Everyone was smiling when, all of a sudden, someone standing behind me held up a glass of champagne and it fell on top of my head,” she explained. “As we say ‘cheese,’ this glass spills on my head!”

The champagne splashed into her hair and eyes, causing Tricia to wince and scream in surprise. In video clips that have since garnered over 500,000 views, both Grande and Erivo immediately jumped into action.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande Step In

As the glass shattered, Erivo quickly called for help.

“Tissue! We need a tissue right now!” she can be heard shouting in the video.

Grande gently guided the startled fan away from the group, repeatedly asking, “Are you okay?” as event staff scrambled to assist.

“Both of them were so sweet and so kind,” Tricia recalled. “They took the time to comfort me until I started to feel better.”

Tricia also shared that the champagne mixed with her makeup, causing her eyes to sting. She began to panic, but the actresses stayed by her side until she calmed down.

“I feel somebody hold me, and they’re like, ‘This is Cynthia Erivo, we’re gonna find you a chair now, okay? You’re going to be okay.’ ”

Ariana Grande’s Sweet Humor

Even in the stressful moment, Grande managed to lighten the mood. Tricia recalled the pop star’s joking offer to postpone the event entirely:

“Ariana said, ‘We can cancel the premiere if your dress is ruined.’ When I laughed, she said, ‘Yeah, I know a guy.’”

Tricia later told followers, “Ariana Grande wiped me clean! They were there for me in one of the most embarrassing moments of my life.”

Fans Applaud the Stars’ Kindness

Social media users flooded the comments with praise for both Wicked stars. Many called the pair “class acts” and “true role models,” with one commenter writing, “This just proves that their beauty isn’t just skin-deep.”

Tricia ended her viral video by encouraging fans to see Wicked: Part 2, saying, “If you had no intention of watching it before, I hope this gives you a reason — because these lovely ladies are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside.”
