Music executive Don Jazzy has officially announced the signing of 21-year-old singer-songwriter CupidSZN to Mavin Records. The artist’s journey to Mavin reflects perseverance and dedication, having first been noticed by Don Jazzy through a DM sent by his father four years ago.

CupidSZN honed his craft over the years, excelling at the Mavin Academy, and is now ready to launch his career with his debut EP, “Myth Era”, which fuses Afropop and Afrobeats with catchy beats and clever wordplay.

In an Instagram post, CupidSZN thanked Don Jazzy, Mavin Records, his family, and God for their support, emphasizing the sacrifices made, including relocating to Lagos to pursue his music.

Before joining Mavin, CupidSZN had already gained recognition with singles like “Service” (2024), “I Want More” (2025), and “Osogeme” (feat. Wademix).

The debut EP marks the start of an exciting new chapter for the young artist, positioning him as one to watch in the Nigerian music scene.
