Dr. Bruce Nwachie Set to Launch Skinetics Branch in Abuja

Renowned skincare expert Dr. Bruce Nwachie is set to open a new branch of his famed beauty clinic, Skinetics, in Abuja. Speaking with The Nation, he explained that the November 29 launch was driven by high demand from clients in the nation’s capital.

With 37 years of practice and a decade of operating the Victoria Island, Lagos branch, Dr. Nwachie—joined by his elder brother Okey Nwachie, Dr. Mike Madukawa, and Dr. Chuka Imo—described Skinetics as a model for how modern beauty clinics should operate in Nigeria.

He emphasized the growing need for proper training within the beauty and skincare sector, expressing concern over unqualified practitioners who have invaded the industry. To tackle this, Skinetics established the Skinetics Academy, designed to offer advanced professional training and hands-on practicals for beauticians seeking to upgrade their skills.

Okey Nwachie, who oversees the administrative and business operations of Skinetics, reiterated the importance of certified and highly trained aestheticians in delivering safe, effective beauty treatments — a standard he believes sets Skinetics apart from the rest.

Dr. Nwachie, a certified Corrective Skincare Specialist, noted that skincare remains his passion, stating that he cannot imagine doing anything outside the field.

“We offer the first and best treatments in Nigeria. We are sanitizing the industry through our academy. Expansion to more states is part of our long-term plan. Skin Essence began in the U.S. in 1993, and Skinetics Clinics launched in Lagos in 2015,” he stated.

He also revealed that anti-aging treatments are currently the biggest trend in skincare, contributing to the rising clientele Skinetics attracts from across the country.
