Evangelist Ezekiel Dachomo Accuses Tinubu’s Aides of Threats Over Christian Killings in Nigeria

Plateau State-based cleric, Evangelist Ezekiel Dachomo, has alleged that operatives linked to President Bola Tinubu’s administration are threatening him to stop his global advocacy regarding the “ongoing killings of Christians in Nigeria.” He made the claims in a video obtained by SaharaReporters on Friday.

In the video, Dachomo stated, “They are threatening and warning me to stop exposing Tinubu’s government at the global level over the ongoing killings of Christians by Fulani terrorists. They say they’re watching my every move from Aso Rock.”

He recounted that some individuals had urged him to remain silent, but he rejected the suggestion, arguing that government inaction has left Christians vulnerable. “The same government exposed us to Fulani killings by refusing to stop them. Their silence is endangering Christians all over Nigeria,” he said.

Government Silence and Extremist Activity

Dachomo further accused the government of indirectly empowering extremist groups. “Boko Haram, ISWAP—they are rejoicing. They kill because they know the government cannot act. Their silence exposes Christians to Islamic terrorists,” he said.

He also criticized officials who deny the existence of targeted killings against Christians, saying, “Not only silence, they publicly claim there is no genocide on Christians. That exposes us as liars.”

Claims About Gravesites and Sheikh Ahmad Gumi

The cleric recounted receiving a troubling phone call after visiting a gravesite in Abuja, suggesting that the severity of attacks is escalating. He also referenced Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, accusing him of denying the existence of corpses buried after recent killings. “He claims all the corpses we buried are lies. That all we buried were empty coffins,” Dachomo said.

Dachomo vowed to take Gumi before international authorities. “I have made his name. He must appear before Interpol, even if hiding in Saudi Arabia. He will testify before the International Criminal Court,” he stated.

Calls for Verification and Government Accountability

The evangelist demanded that security personnel and local youth protect the burial sites to prevent evidence tampering. He also called for the presence of top officials, including the Chief Judge, Chief of Defence Staff, and Chief of Army Staff, to oversee an exhumation and verify the truth.

“Let us dig the grave and see what is there. Who is lying? My tears are not a hypocritical dress,” he said, visibly emotional toward the end of the video.

Dachomo concluded by urging stakeholders to witness the gravesites firsthand, insisting that accountability and truth are necessary for justice.
