FCMB empowers women entrepreneurs through 2025 SheVentures Networking Summit

First City Monument Bank (FCMB), through its flagship women-in-business platform SheVentures, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting female entrepreneurs with the successful hosting of the 2025 SheVentures Networking Summit in Lagos.

Held under the theme “Engage, Empower & Unwind 2.0: The Power of Balance,” the summit brought together hundreds of women entrepreneurs, business executives, and professionals from various industries. Discussions centered on how women can pursue ambitious business goals while maintaining the balance needed for personal and professional well-being.

The event featured inspiring fireside conversations, experience-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration, learning, and business growth.

A major highlight was a fireside chat featuring Princess Adeyinka Tekenah, CEO of Happy Coffee Nigeria; Dr. Ella Ezeadilieje, growth and personal development strategist; and Teni Stuffman, CEO of Lebara Nigeria. The speakers shared insights on resilience, purpose, and navigating the realities of modern entrepreneurship.

Speaking at the summit, Felicia Obozuwa, FCMB’s Executive Director of Corporate Services and Service Management, reiterated the bank’s dedication to championing women-led businesses through capacity building, mentorship, and zero-interest loans.

“At FCMB, we believe empowering women is not just a social imperative — it is an economic strategy,” she said. “Through SheVentures, we are building an ecosystem where women can grow sustainable businesses while finding the balance that supports long-term success.”

Since its inception, SheVentures has provided thousands of female entrepreneurs across Nigeria with tailored financial solutions, training, and mentorship. The 2025 Networking Summit further solidifies FCMB’s role as a major driver of gender inclusion and SME development in Nigeria.
