
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, in collaboration with Azleems Global Investment, conducted a workshop titled “Managing Workplace Emotions, Attitude, Values, and Ethics to Drive Sustainable Agriculture” in Abuja. The workshop targeted officers on Grade Levels 07 to 12 and is part of the ministry’s Culture Change Management Initiative, aligned with the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021–2025.

- Objective: Strengthen emotional intelligence, professionalism, and ethical conduct to promote service excellence.
- Lead Facilitator: Dr. Oluwabamidele Kogbe, EPIC Award recipient, introduced EPIC values—Efficiency, Productivity, Incorruptibility, and Citizen-Centred Service.

- Commended the Honourable Ministers (Senator Abubakar Kyari, Senator Aliyu Abdullahi) and Permanent Secretary Dr. Marcus Ogunbiyi for prioritizing staff development.
- Recommended institutionalizing such training across all cadres to build a high-performing workforce.
- Proposed establishing an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) for staff well-being and mental health support.
Outcome:
Participants reaffirmed their commitment to EPIC values, pledging to contribute to the Ministry’s mission of food security and sustainable agricultural transformation.
