The Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement has ramped up its grassroots mobilisation efforts in preparation for the 2027 general elections, with a particular focus on Kaduna State. The group, which has been spreading its influence across Northern Nigeria, is determined to energise supporters and foster nationwide engagement ahead of the election.
During a recent visit to Kaduna, Mr. Abdurazak Hamzat, the National Coordinator of the movement, reiterated the importance of grassroots mobilisation to ensure the nation’s future is safeguarded. Speaking at an engagement event with local groups in Kaduna, Hamzat stressed the significance of this initiative as part of the movement’s ongoing nationwide consultations. He urged members to remain steadfast and committed, despite the current political challenges.
Strengthening Local Networks
Hamzat revealed that the movement has set up several mobilisation groups across the country, including four distinct groups in Kaduna alone. These groups are strategically spread across various local government areas within the state, helping to build a robust support base in key regions.
Call for National Renewal
“The Gbenga Hashim Solidarity Movement operates through multiple solidarity structures, united by the same national goal: to promote good governance and national renewal,” Hamzat said. As the 2027 general election approaches, the message of the movement is loud and clear: Nigerians must actively work to protect the country from poor leadership and misgovernance.
Focus on Nationwide Engagement
The national coordinator emphasised that the movement’s work is far from done. It will continue its efforts to engage Nigerians at the grassroots level, ensuring that citizens are motivated to play an active role in safeguarding the future of the country.
