In Nigeria’s rapidly growing streaming landscape, Lumberjack has emerged as a creator who blends humour, chaos, and unfiltered truth to captivate audiences. Known for turning everyday life into performance, he has built a devoted following that appreciates both the laughter and honesty in his content.

Born in Sagamu and raised in Warri, Lumberjack credits his upbringing for shaping his bold, fearless personality. “Warri shaped everything about me—how I talk, how I see things, how I react. Growing up there teaches you to face life with no fear,” he says. In 2024, he moved to Lagos to take his content to a larger stage.

Lumberjack began his journey on TikTok in 2020, using his signature “Warri talk” to comment on trending topics, tease celebrities, and mix street slang with humour. His audience quickly grew as viewers resonated with his playful, relatable style.

“At first, I was just carrying a stick, talking about trending topics. People loved it. They laughed, they shared, and it brought engagement,” he recalls.

Over time, he embraced live streaming, where his natural energy and spontaneity could shine in real time. His streams often feature a mix of everyday antics—mixing coconut and groundnut, eating bread and Coke, shouting, joking, and connecting directly with fans. This combination of chaos and calm, humour and honesty has become his trademark.

“Everything about me is entertainment. Violence and peace. You’ll see drama, you’ll see jokes, you’ll see joy. I just bring vibes,” he explains.

Lumberjack admits the work comes with pressures—comparisons, bad network, and online hate—but he remains grounded in authenticity. “The way I am in real life is how I am online. Funny, angry, calm, all at once. I’m just real. I’m organic,” he says.

Outside streaming, he enjoys football and maintaining good energy, traits that resonate with his fans. Looking ahead, his ambition is clear: “Myself times ten. Not just Lagos or Warri, but worldwide.”
