Former Big Brother Naija housemate Cross Okonkwo has revealed that he lost a job opportunity because of his outspoken Christian faith. The 34-year-old reality TV star said a potential collaborator decided not to work with him due to his public discussions about Jesus Christ on social media. He did not disclose the company or the role involved.

Cross emphasized that his faith is non-negotiable and that he would never compromise his beliefs for money or fame. On social media, he wrote:

“You are mad and don’t want to work with me because I have made my faith in Jesus Christ very clear and bold… I will NEVER do anything evil for money. Even if I become the poorest person on earth, I don’t care about fame. All wealth belongs to my Father.”

He also noted that while some people still see him as the same person from the BBNaija house, he has grown in spirit and character since leaving the show. Cross continues to share his Christian journey with followers, affirming that true wealth and purpose come from God, not fame or material success.
