Popular Nigerian rapper Temidayo Omoniyi, better known by his stage name Zlatan Ibile, has revealed that he stopped smoking four years ago.

The Zanku hitmaker made the revelation during an interactive session with fans on Snapchat.

Responding to a fan who asked if he still smoked, Zlatan replied:

“A day can’t pass without someone asking me this question. Yes, I quit smoking four years ago. And I have no issues with smokers.”

His revelation adds him to the growing list of Nigerian music stars who have publicly announced they quit or are attempting to quit smoking.

Among them are Don Jazzy, Peruzzi, Tekno, and Kizz Daniel. In 2018, Davido also hinted that he planned to quit smoking, citing Don Jazzy’s success as motivation.
