Grammy Award–winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has described himself as a “boring” person, saying his daily life is far from the glamour many fans imagine.

Speaking during a recent episode of Close Friends Only Speed Round with fellow artiste Asake, Wizkid explained that celebrities live normal lives and engage in routine activities like everyone else.

When asked by Asake to share an interesting fact fans might not know about him, Wizkid responded:

“I see myself as boring. I wake up in the morning at 6:30, I take my kids to school. We are normal human beings too, man.”

The singer also spoke about what matters most to him, listing his daughter, Morayo, his music career, and God as the three most important aspects of his life.

Wizkid further shared his thoughts on longevity in the music industry, noting that authenticity, strategic collaborations, and consistent hard work are key ingredients for sustaining a successful career.
