Nollywood actress and filmmaker Iyabo Ojo has announced her return to the big screen with a new movie titled The Return of Arinzo, revealing an impressive, star-studded cast.

Production of the film began in 2025 and follows the success of her previous cinema hit, Labake Olododo. On Monday, January 19, Iyabo Ojo shared a video on social media unveiling the cast members for the highly anticipated project.

The movie features top Nollywood stars such as Funke Akindele, Mercy Aigbe, Bimbo Akintola, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Uzor Arukwe, Scarlet Gomez, Muka Ray, Priscilla Ojo, and Bimbo Akintola, among others.

One of the biggest highlights from the cast reveal is the inclusion of Wunmi Aloba, the widow of late singer Mohbad, and Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, both of whom will be making their Nollywood acting debut in the film.

Reports indicate that The Return of Arinzo is a multinational collaboration involving Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania. Alongside Iyabo Ojo, nightlife entrepreneur Soso Soberekon and Abazee Productions are also part of the production team.

Following the announcement, a video showcasing the cast quickly went viral online, drawing excitement from fans who praised the diverse lineup and celebrated the cross-cultural collaboration.
