Northampton, UK – Northampton Saints have secured the future of flanker Josh Kemeny, with the 27-year-old Australian signing a new deal at Franklin’s Gardens.
Kemeny joined the Saints in 2024 from Melbourne Rebels in Super Rugby and made an immediate impact, scoring six tries in 21 Premiership appearances during his debut season.
Kemeny on His Future with Saints
“I feel like I am just getting started here at Saints,” Kemeny told the club website.
“I feel like I have improved as a player since being here and I have been a part of some incredibly exciting fixtures. We have a clear goal to win silverware in Europe and in the Premiership. The boys are ambitious; ambitious to win, and ambitious to raise a trophy again.”
The Australian flanker has been in fine form recently, scoring tries in his previous two matches – against Pretoria Bulls and Sale Sharks – though he missed the start of the season due to injury.
Northampton Saints’ Current Season
Northampton are currently top of the Premiership standings, leading second-placed Exeter Chiefs by one point after eight games. Kemeny’s new contract ensures the club retains a key player in their ambitious campaign for domestic and European silverware.
