In a harrowing incident on Thursday night, a journalist based in South Delhi was allegedly chased by two men on a scooter from her workplace in Noida all the way to the DND Flyway. Authorities have since apprehended one of the suspects in connection with the case.

The victim, a resident of Vasant Kunj, said she had left her office at night and was driving home when the two men on a scooter began following her. The suspects reportedly tried to signal her to stop, but when she did not comply, they allegedly pursued her aggressively. At one point, the men allegedly threw a heavy object at her car, shattering the rear window.

Despite the frightening situation, the journalist maintained her composure and continued driving. She eventually encountered a group of cab drivers in southeast Delhi, who offered assistance. She parked safely and immediately contacted the police to report the incident.

Delhi Police registered a case under relevant sections, including stalking. The police reviewed CCTV footage of the route, which confirmed that the pursuit had begun in Noida. Acting on this information, officers traced one of the two suspects to his residence and took him into custody late on Friday morning. He is currently being interrogated.

According to preliminary statements from the accused, the chase reportedly began after the journalist allegedly collided with their scooter. Police are verifying these claims as part of the ongoing investigation.
