Kim Kardashian Shares Health Update After Revealing Brain Aneurysm Diagnosis

Kim Kardashian Opens Up About Her Health After Aneurysm Scare

Reality TV icon and business mogul Kim Kardashian is reassuring fans that she’s doing well after revealing a shocking brain aneurysm diagnosis in the upcoming season of The Kardashians.

During her October 28, 2025 appearance on Good Morning America, the 45-year-old SKIMS founder discussed her health journey following what doctors described as “a little aneurysm.”

“You’ll see in the next episode, I did go and get a Prenuvo scan,” Kardashian told host Robin Roberts. “I had to go for several other brain scans at Cedars-Sinai with the whole team. Just tune in next week, but everything works out.”

Kardashian emphasized the importance of staying proactive about health:

“It’s just a good measure to go and make sure that you always check everything,” she said. “Health is wealth, and you have to be careful with everything that you do.”

The Diagnosis That Shook Fans

Kim first disclosed her health scare in a preview for season 7 of The Kardashians, released on October 23. The trailer shows her undergoing an MRI before breaking the news to her family:

“There was a little aneurysm,” she revealed, leaving her sister Kourtney Kardashian visibly concerned.

According to Kim, her doctors attributed the aneurysm to stress — something she was under plenty of during that period. Between studying for the bar exam, traveling to Paris for a court case related to her 2016 armed robbery, and finalizing her divorce from Kanye West, her plate was overflowing.

“I’m happy it’s over,” Kim said in the trailer, referencing her split from West. “My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.”

Navigating Health, Family, and Stress

Kardashian’s life has long been under the microscope, but this time, the conversation is deeply personal. In her recent Call Her Daddy podcast appearance, she reflected on how emotional stress affected her marriage and mental well-being.

“People can say there were signs, and maybe I wasn’t paying attention to them,” she admitted. “When someone has their first mental break, you want to be supportive and help figure that out, but it’s hard when they’re not willing to make changes.”

Despite the challenges, Kardashian remains focused on her four children — North (12), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (6) — and her ongoing journey toward becoming a lawyer.

“When you have kids, it’s definitely harder to leave than it is to stay,” she said candidly. “It changes everyone’s life forever.”

Understanding Brain Aneurysms

According to the Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm is “a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain.” While most are small and non-life-threatening, a rupture can cause bleeding in the brain known as a hemorrhagic stroke, which requires immediate emergency care.

In many cases, aneurysms are discovered incidentally during tests for other medical conditions. The decision to treat depends on several factors, including the size, location, and potential risk of rupture.

It’s not yet known whether Kardashian underwent treatment, but her comments suggest she is currently healthy and under close medical supervision.

What’s Next for Kim Kardashian

Fans can expect to see the full story unfold on Season 7 of The Kardashians, streaming Thursdays on Hulu. The new season promises a deeper look into Kim’s health scare, her ongoing legal studies, and her efforts to balance fame, family, and wellness.

Kardashian’s message is clear: even global icons aren’t immune to health challenges — and taking care of yourself should always come first.
