Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran (Jandor), a 2027 Lagos APC governorship aspirant, said local governments now have no excuse not to perform due to improved funding from President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking at the 100-day celebration of Oto-Awori LCDA chairman, Mr. Abiodun Kareem, he praised Lagos councils for effective use of unrestricted funds, including the completion of a legislative building, donation of patrol vehicles, and a N5 million donation to the G12 Women Development Fund Cooperative.

Lagos APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, noted that better grassroots funding has strengthened LG achievements, urging youths to get their PVCs to support continued development. Kareem highlighted ongoing efforts to address infrastructural decay in schools, health centres, roads, and drainage.
