Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) are quietly reconnecting months after welcoming their first child together, daughter Saga Blade, in March 2025. While they haven’t formally labeled their relationship, sources tell PEOPLE the duo is spending significant time together as a family.
Back Together, but Keeping Things Unofficial
A source revealed that Fox, 39, and MGK, 35, “act like a couple, but they haven’t put a label on it or made anything official.”
“He spends pretty much every night at her house with the baby, and they act like a couple, but they haven’t put a label on it or made anything official,” the insider shared.
Despite their breakup in late 2024 — shortly after announcing they were expecting — the couple has been prioritizing family life.
“Things are great now. He’s amazing with the baby and she very much enjoys spending time with him,” the source added.
Family First: The Impact of Baby Saga
Baby Saga has reportedly brought Fox and Kelly closer together.
“Megan’s very happy with how he’s stepped up for both her and the baby,” the insider explained. “While they still have separate homes, they spend a lot of time together as a family. They’re putting the baby first, and it’s brought them closer in many ways.”
Their bond strengthened during a Costa Rica trip in July 2025, which sources say allowed them to rebuild trust and enjoy each other’s company as friends and co-parents.
“Their Costa Rica trip wasn’t about rekindling a romance so much as it was about rebuilding trust. For the first time in a long while, they felt like good friends again. They have a solid understanding now,” the source added.
Taking Things Slowly
Both Fox and Kelly are approaching their renewed connection with caution.
“Megan’s not closing the door for good on a relationship, but she’s not walking back in completely either,” a source said.
“No one’s pushing for labels. Megan and Colson are focused on whether this evolving connection can truly last beyond just co-parenting.”
MGK’s Music Reflects His Personal Growth
Kelly, born Colson Baker, also has a 16-year-old daughter, Casie, with ex Emma Cannon. Fox shares three other children — Noah (12), Bodhi (11), and Journey (9) — with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
In his song “Treading Water” from his latest album Los Americana, MGK appears to address his relationship with Fox and the challenges of co-parenting:
“The beast killed the beauty / The last petal fell from the rose / And I loved you truly / That’s why it’s hard to let it go / I broke this home, but I’ll change for our daughter / So she’s not alone.”
The lyrics reveal a raw, emotional perspective on his responsibilities as a father and navigating public scrutiny of his relationship.
Relationship Timeline: From Engagement to Parenthood
Fox and MGK first connected in 2020 on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. Their romance quickly blossomed, and the pair announced their engagement in January 2022. Weeks after revealing their pregnancy in November 2024, the couple temporarily split, leaving fans speculating about the future of their relationship.
Now, months later, the couple is prioritizing co-parenting, rebuilding trust, and spending quality family time together — all while keeping their connection unofficial.
