Content creator and entrepreneur Oluwademilade Abimbola, popularly known as MissDemz, says Nigeria stands as the continent’s largest hub for creativity. Known for her lifestyle and beauty content on YouTube, as well as her hair brand, MissDemzHair, she shared insights into her journey and experiences since relocating from London to Lagos.

MissDemz revealed that her initial plan was to expand her hair business and do YouTube on the side. However, upon arriving in Nigeria in 2022, she realized the immense creative potential of the country. “Coming here opened my creativity. I felt I could push myself and invest my money here,” she explained.

The influencer emphasized that Lagos’s fast-paced culture fuels determination and discipline, unlike the UK. She believes that Nigeria is home to underdiscovered talents and offers opportunities that make taking creative risks worthwhile.

On balancing fun and work, MissDemz shared that a structured routine keeps her on track. She also highlighted her humorous approach in content creation, describing it as part of her DNA, and revealed that interactions with prominent personalities, such as the Okoya family, have helped boost her profile.

Reflecting on her life in London versus Nigeria, she acknowledged missing some comforts like McDonald’s and fast Wi-Fi but stated that the move allowed her to fully explore her creativity. “Nigeria is probably the biggest creative empire in Africa. The talents here are underdiscovered, and the possibilities are endless,” she said.

MissDemz also shared that being single allows her to focus fully on her career, and she manages attention from men with humor and discretion. Despite her resemblance to Tiwa Savage, she maintains her individuality and professional boundaries.
