MultiChoice, the popular pay-TV provider, has reduced the prices of its DStv and GOtv decoders, making access to premium entertainment more affordable for Nigerians.
Effective November 1, 2025, the DStv decoder price dropped from N10,000 to N7,900, while the GOtv decoder now costs N6,500.
This marks the second major price adjustment within months, following an earlier reduction in June under the company’s “We’ve Got You” campaign, when DStv decoders were halved from N20,000 to N10,000, and GOtv decoders fell from N18,600 to N9,900.
Tope Oshunkeye, MultiChoice’s Executive Head of Marketing, said the latest price cuts are aimed at ensuring entertainment remains accessible to all Nigerians, particularly as the festive season approaches.
“The new prices provide an opportunity for families to enjoy local and international programming together without stretching their budgets,” Oshunkeye said.
