NGO Commends Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA Chairman Agbaje for Remarkable Development Strides

The City-Builder’s Development and Empowerment Initiative (CBDEI), a Non-Governmental Organisation, has lauded the Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Lukman Agbaje, for his notable achievements in local development since the start of his administration.

CBDEI President, Daniel Okoro, gave the commendation during an assessment of the council’s progress ahead of Agbaje’s 60th birthday. He highlighted the chairman’s landmark accomplishments within his first 100 days in office and the continued progress over six months.

Okoro said, “We are truly impressed by his outstanding performance in road rehabilitation, market and environmental improvements, youth engagement, free medical outreach, and financial empowerment programs for residents.” He described the Agbaje-led administration as the “Government of Ease” for its visible impact across Ayobo-Ipaja.

The NGO president also praised Agbaje for conducting an early assessment tour across the LCDA, demonstrating his commitment to efficiency, accountability, and improved service delivery.

In addition, Okoro commended the successful hosting of the 2026 Budget Stakeholders Consultative Forum under the theme, “New Initiatives for Economic Development in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.” He expressed confidence that the budget would reflect the genuine needs of residents while aligning with Lagos State’s broader development goals.

Highlighting CBDEI’s commitment to community service, Okoro invited the LCDA chairman to deepen collaboration with the organisation. He underscored the NGO’s decade-long prison outreach programs across Nigeria, which focus on faith-building, skills acquisition, welfare support, and health empowerment for inmates.

“We have approval from the Lagos Command Comptroller of Corrections to conduct follow-up classes for new converts in all state correctional centres,” Okoro said, reaffirming CBDEI’s readiness to partner with the LCDA for greater community impact.
