
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has confirmed that 32 vessels carrying petroleum products, food commodities, and other cargoes are scheduled to dock at Lagos ports between January 12 and January 30, 2026.
According to the NPA’s Daily Shipping Position released on Monday, the vessels will arrive across Apapa Port, Tin-Can Island Port, and Lekki Deep Sea Port.
The authority revealed that the incoming ships will carry a variety of cargoes, including crude oil, aviation fuel, refined petroleum products, bulk bitumen, containers, general cargo, bulk urea, condensate, and gasoline.
Currently, 10 ships and tankers are already at the ports, awaiting berthing. These vessels are transporting diesel, crude oil, bulk wheat, petrol, fresh fish, raw oil, containers, and bulk salt.
In addition, the NPA noted that 31 vessels are presently offloading cargoes, which include bulk fertilizer, general merchandise, wheat, salt, diesel, soya beans, bulk urea, liquefied gas, petrol, fresh fish, and containerized goods.
The authority assured that port activities remain steady, with ongoing efforts to ensure the efficient handling and movement of cargoes across all terminals.
