‘No Family Deserves This Pain’ – Davido Condemns Kwara Church Attack, Kebbi Girls Abduction

Popular Nigerian musician Davido has reacted to the recent spate of violent attacks in Nigeria, including the abduction of 25 schoolgirls in Kebbi State and a deadly church attack in Kwara State.

According to reports, three people were killed during a program at a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) branch in Kwara on Tuesday evening, and several members, including the pastor, were abducted. These incidents occurred less than 24 hours after the girls were kidnapped in Kebbi on Monday, November 17, 2025.

In a statement shared on X on Wednesday evening, Davido expressed his deep concern, saying:
“No family deserves this pain.”

He further urged Nigerians to stand united against such violence, emphasizing that these attacks must never become the norm.

“My heart goes out to the young girls kidnapped in Kebbi and their families. We must work together to create a country where every child can grow up in safety and hope,” Davido said.

He also condemned the church attack in Kwara, praying for the victims and urging anyone with credible information to assist safely in the ongoing rescue efforts.

“May God comfort the grieving families in Kwara, bring peace to our nation, and put every sponsor of violence and disorder to shame,” he added.
