Remo Stars head coach, Sulaiman Folarin, has described his team’s 3-2 home defeat to Bendel Insurance as a case of bad luck.

The Sky Blue Stars were defeated on Sunday as Henry Onyia and Wisdom Udom scored for Bendel Insurance, while Adeleke Olamilekan and Victor Mbaoma found the net for Remo Stars. The loss marked the team’s second home defeat of the campaign.

“After the game ended, you could see that the players gave their best despite the result,” Folarin told Remo Stars media. “My team was just unlucky with the defeat.”

The defending champions currently sit 15th on the league table with 22 points, two points clear of the relegation zone.
