Joy Taiwo, CEO and Managing Director of Oyiza Orphanage in Ibadan, Oyo State, celebrated her 40th birthday alongside the orphanage’s 25th anniversary. She highlighted the home’s commitment to providing quality health care and nutrition for children.

Recalling her journey, Taiwo said she took over responsibility for 50 children after her mother’s passing in 2007, inspired by her mother’s resilience. The orphanage has since produced seven graduates, two National Diploma holders, and 12 undergraduates.

Taiwo appealed for support to renovate a facility in Felele, Ibadan, to provide a safe and comfortable home for the 45 children currently in residence.
