Nigerian singer Peter Okoye (Mr P) revealed on the Nancy Isime Show that his greatest fear is poverty, not death.
He recounted a childhood experience when his family’s single-room apartment was demolished after the landlord sold the property. Living with six siblings and his parents in one room, the family had to divide the space with a curtain. The incident left a lasting impression on him, shaping his perspective on financial stability.
Mr P said: “I have tasted poverty before… the only thing I am afraid of in this life is poverty, of being broke.”
