Controversial Nigerian street-hop artiste Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has released a scathing diss track aimed at his fourth baby mama, Ashabi Simple, and members of her family.
The song comes amid an ongoing public feud between the former lovers and appears to be Portable’s musical response to allegations leveled against him during the dispute. In the track, the “Zazuu” crooner addresses the controversy head-on, calling out Ashabi and taking shots at her mother over claims involving financial demands, including accusations that she asked him to buy her a car.
Portable shared a video of the diss track on Instagram, where he was seen dancing enthusiastically as the song played. In the lyrics, he also challenged Ashabi to ask her father whether he had ever bought such a gift for her mother, while hinting at unresolved tensions between them.
The release follows reports of a heated confrontation between the pair. Prior to the song, Portable had accused Ashabi of storming his residence with her family members, claiming his pregnant wife, Bewaji, was assaulted and that weapons were pointed at his children.
Ashabi, however, offered a different account. She stated that she and her siblings visited Portable’s home to celebrate the New Year when the situation allegedly escalated. According to her, the singer became violent, assaulted her and her siblings, threatened them with an axe, and confiscated their phones.
Ashabi further revealed that a police complaint was later filed over the incident, adding that while officers reportedly visited the house, Portable was no longer present when they arrived.
The diss track has since sparked intense reactions online, with fans and critics weighing in as the drama continues to unfold publicly.
