Varanasi marks the much-anticipated return of SS Rajamouli to the director’s chair after the massive success of RRR. The film also represents Priyanka Chopra’s comeback to Indian cinema after her 2019 drama The Sky Is Pink. In Varanasi, she will portray the character Mandakini, while Mahesh Babu stars as Rudra and Prithviraj Sukumaran essays the role of antagonist, Kumbha. The film is slated for a theatrical release during Sankranti 2027, and fans are already eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Beyond Varanasi, Priyanka’s schedule is packed with high-profile international projects. She is set to return in Citadel 2, the Russo Brothers’ spy-action series, continuing her global television presence. Additionally, she will appear in The Bluff, directed by Frank E.
