Actress Regina Daniels has emotionally broken down while speaking about ongoing family struggles and personal challenges. In a heartfelt video shared on her Instagram Story, Daniels revealed that she has been struggling both mentally and emotionally, expressing deep frustration and despair.
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” Daniels said in the emotional clip.
Central to her current distress is the detention of her brother, Sammy, who has been held for several days. The situation has brought her estranged parents back together, as they united solely to secure Sammy’s release.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” Daniels wrote, expressing gratitude for her parents’ reunion.
In the video, Daniels also touched on her marital situation. She hinted at considering a return to her husband, though she admitted uncertainty about what she is “begging for.” She explained the emotional toll of dealing with her brother’s situation alongside her personal struggles:
“But please, what am I even begging for? I don’t know. Do you guys think it’s easy? Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh my brother, today I hear good news, he’s about to be free, then tomorrow I hear another thing. Like, what’s the problem? But I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back,” Daniels said.
The actress had previously hinted at experiencing domestic violence, a claim her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, denied, instead suggesting she needed rehabilitation for substance abuse.
Amidst the emotional turmoil, fellow actress Mercy Johnson has shown support by helping search for Daniels’ brother, Sammy. Despite the personal and family challenges, Daniels expressed gratitude for her parents’ temporary reconciliation, highlighting that it was done purely for her happiness
